Two Visions, One Passion: Educating Through Music
IP Miami Art Academy was born from the partnership of two artists and educators who share a deep passion for art: Amanda Pico and Roxana Iglesias. Together, they created a space built on love, inclusion, and the firm belief that art plays a fundamental role in children’s growth and emotional well-being.
A graduate with a specialization in flute performance, she has dedicated much of her career to music education and working with children. Her artistic training, combined with her passion for singing and education, has enabled her to develop a teaching approach that turns every lesson into a dynamic, educational, and motivating experience. Beyond technical instruction, she is also committed to inspiring a love of music from an early age, fostering artistic sensitivity, creativity, and self-confidence in each of her students.
A graduate of the University of the Arts in Havana, Cuba, with a specialization in violin, Roxana brings more than 15 years of experience as a music educator. As the founder and director of the ensemble Frasis, she has dedicated much of her career to promoting Cuban music while highlighting the expressive possibilities of string instruments in both classical and popular genres. Her teaching philosophy centers on inspiring students of all ages to discover and develop their artistic potential, using music as a powerful vehicle for learning, creativity, self-expression, and personal growth.
IP represents the fusion of our founders’ surnames. It is an academy where music is taught with excellence, always following the philosophy of “One Note at a Time.”
